Our Services include …
Facilitation and Stakeholder Consultation
Nodelcorp applies engineering analysis to complex, environmentally sensitive, projects and issues. We utilize our engineering analysis to form the basis for our environmental, adaptation, sustainable development, management and policy planning services. Effective decision-making is based on a fundamental understanding of processes and full-cycle emissions associated with evolving alternatives.
Nodelcorp works with clients to assess their technological, environmental, climatological, financial and social risk exposures. We use the resulting risk profiles as a foundation to support all of our work. This is based on our core belief that all management, environmental and sustainable development practice should be based on an objective analysis of the environmental, climatological, financial and social risks faced by proposed technological development and ongoing operations.
With a true understanding of an organization’s risk profile, we can work with our clients to develop cost-effective options to manage their issues.
Nodelcorp conducts applied research, strategic planning, cost/benefit analysis, policy development, and program design. Our interests and expertise span all elements of sustainable development. We have provided consulting services to all three levels of government as well as a variety of industrial and sectoral associations. We have prepared draft regulations, strategic plans, policy discussion papers and advisory documents that aid our clients in reaching effective decisions on complex and sensitive issues.
Nodelcorp’s forte lies in our ability to form a focal point by which management, staff, clients and stakeholders can engage in coordinated, issue-specific problem solving and collaborative consensus-building.
Facilitation and Stakeholder Consultation
Nodelcorp has a reputation for providing effective design and execution of public, stakeholder and staff consultation processes. One of our primary skills is our ability to bridge the gap between technical experts and laypersons. Given our solid foundation in science, engineering and business; and in education and sustainable development, we are uniquely positioned to draw consensus from diverse groups of stakeholders. We have been engaged to facilitate a broad range of events from one-day, in-house, strategic planning sessions to the design and coordination of major national consultation initiatives. Consultation is a process that must be designed for the specific circumstances of each issue and its stakeholders. We provide the means by which consensus and understanding can be achieved and do so in a manner that is specifically tailored to achieve positive and constructive outcomes.
Nodelcorp has extensive experience in providing targeted professional development training. Our clients have included academic institutions, associations, professional groups, private industry and government organizations. We focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation processes. We base our training programs on a foundation of risk assessment, climate science, sound management practice and engineering. Our focus is on the development of robust skill-sets to measure greenhouse gas emissions, understand climate change impacts, and adapt to changing weather. We help our participants to build technically sound and policy-compliant approaches to enhance their professional practice.
